In software product development, in order to improve the quality of software development products, reduce the development cost, shorten the development cycle and win the market, the mode of distributed collaborative product development has become an effective way for enterprises to improve the competitiveness of their products. At present, many software development environments are characterized by product as the core, resulting in relatively independent research and development stages, development tasks, and phased results, which brings difficulties to the collaborative work among the software development participants. At the same time, team members are dispersed in different geographical locations, increasing the complexity of communication, and the focus of management must be shifted from the coordination among members to the collaborative work among members. In order to make the software development based on distributed collaborative work successful, this paper makes an in-depth study of the collaboration mode and mechanism in the development process, uses workflow technology to model the software process, controls its standardized execution, and finally builds an integrated collaborative management platform. To meet the project management requirements of software product collaborative development, especially the welding safety training system based on virtual reality.
Collaboration model is the core and foundation of Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) system. Its purpose is to describe the way, mechanism, management, coordination and control of the collaboration process of the group [1]. According to the hierarchical characteristics of software development work, a software development collaboration model with three layers of task, activity and operation structure is proposed on the basis of object-oriented multi-layer collaboration model, and the collaboration in software development is divided into task model layer, activity model layer and operation model layer, as shown in Fig. 1.
According to the scope of collaboration, it can be divided into intra-department collaboration, intra-enterprise collaboration and inter-enterprise collaboration [3]. This project is developed in a collaborative mode between enterprises.
According to the structure of the collaborative system, it can be divided into technology layer, ontology layer, interaction layer, network layer, application layer, etc. [4]. Its collaboration hierarchy model is shown in Fig. 2.
Fig. 1 – Software development collaboration model Fig. 2 – Hierarchy model for collaboration service
According to the integration purpose of collaboration, it can be divided into information integration, process integration and enterprise integration [2].
In view of this project after the completion of the cooperative enterprise scenario modeling, a stage evaluation analysis. The gap analysis method was used to evaluate the key influencing factors in the project collaboration, calculate the importance of the underlying indicators to the collaboration level W and calculate the comprehensive evaluation value. The calculation model of gap analysis is shown in Table 1.
Table 2-1. Calculation model of gap analysis method
According to Table 1, the technical quality of comprehensive evaluation is general (G=52.689), and the difference between the important value and the actual performance value is 38 (Δi=38). In order to more clearly describe the bottleneck problem affecting the quality of the development process, the difference between the performance value and the importance of each evaluation index is shown in a visual chart, as shown in Figs. 3 and 4.
Fig. 3 – Contrast chart between importance value Fig. 4 – Fold graph of difference between importance value
and represent value and represent value
Can see clearly from the table, the indexes of 13, 24, 25 difference significant, that the program in the product development process optimization, the distribution of the management information system application degree and the scope of the application of management information system these three aspects the demand is higher, but the three aspects of performance is not ideal, become a bottleneck problem affecting the quality of collaborative product development process, therefore, as a key improvement factor.
Personnel in the process of collaborative development have better reasonable arrangement, the more efficient utilization of resources and the rapid flow of information, the stream of people, logistics and information flow organically, improve management efficiency, to borrow from theory and technology of workflow [5] in the study, on the basis of the existing workflow model and modeling method is proposed for software collaborative development of workflow modeling method, It consists of three sub-models: process model, organization model and information model.

It can be divided into project layer, process layer and collaboration layer, which correspond to task model layer, activity model layer and operation model layer of software development collaboration model, as shown in Fig. 7. In order to adapt to the complex network environment, the platform adopts the centralized CSCW architecture combining B/S mode and C/S mode, which is divided into customer layer, service layer and data layer, as shown in Fig. 8.

management platform functional level platform architecture
The key steps to build a software collaborative development management platform are as follows:
1. Create a workflow engine. Create a Workflow engine from the templates provided by Lotus Workflow.
2. Design the application database. Create the application database from the Lotus Workflow template, add the necessary forms, modify its user interface, and add your own navigators, views, agents, and so on.
3. Organizational modeling. Add individuals, groups, roles, relationships, or work attributes, etc., to the organization catalog database.
4. Process modeling. Design the process with Lotus Workflow Architect and save it to the process definition and design store database.
The virtual reality based collaborative development management platform for welding safety training system discussed in this paper is suitable for software product collaborative development management. The following is part of its application in the development project of “Welding Safety Training System for CSSC Employees” (see Figs. 9 and 10).

in project management analysis
Based on the evaluation and analysis of product development process management in the collaborative development of welding safety training system based on virtual reality, this paper proposes the idea of using collaborative development Workflow technology to model software process. Lotus Domino/Notes and Lotus Workflow are used to develop a software collaborative development management platform.
Based on the relationship between workflow and CSCW, this paper studies the existing workflow models and modeling methods, proposes a collaborative workflow meta-model, and gives the structure and design ideas of three sub-models of the model. The prototype system of software collaborative development support platform based on workflow is constructed by using relevant technologies and tools. The functional level, architecture, design and implementation of the platform are discussed. Finally, the management platform is applied in the collaborative development process of “welding safety training system based on virtual reality”.
